Ok, almost done with the Insanity program...
And I can say that I LOVE the program, but.... I definitely didn't lose even close to what I wanted to lose as far as weight goes. I now however have the tightest core you could have, but you couldn't see it because of all the fat still on top. I did get leaner and lost some fat, weight, etc. but nowhere near what I had hoped for as hard as I had worked throughout. It's the hardest most insane workout I've ever done in my life and I honestly expected more results. But I'm also BF which have already made it hard for me to lose weight, but I'm doing WW too. I truly think this program is best for those of you that only have about 10 lbs to lose and for those who need to tighten up. It's definitely not for a lot of weight loss, which I did know going in, but really thought I would lose a lot more. For those who need to lose 30-40 lbs., lose most of that weight first and then do Insanity. That's what I'm going to have to do. I definitely feel the results and slightly see them, but nothing what I would be able to see if I was thinner when I started it. I'm not sure what I should do as soon as I finish it? I was thinking I need to go back to the gym a couple of days a week and do 3 Insanity workouts a week on top of WW and see what happens? And once I lose most of the weight that I need to, I'll do Insanity again and see what results I get. I am a little disappointed considering how hard I've been working out and it partly feels like for nothing, but I'm definitely stronger and have a kick a@@ core if you could only see it!
I do recommend it, but it's VERY HARD!!! You drip sweat during the warm-up!

Re: Ok, almost done with the Insanity program...
i hear you... I'm on week 1 of month 2 and although i've been increasing my numbers on the fit test and "feel" fitter, i haven't really lost anything and my clothes still fit the same. i think i have been building muscle that won't show unless i had a really low % of body fat like you mentioned! oh well after i'm done i think i will go back to running for a while. but thanks for sharing your experience!!

I had the same experience. I didn't have much weight to lose but I thought I would be shredded by the end based on what the advertisements say! lol
THe workouts are awesome and I still do them when I can't get to the gym but not in any hopes of seeing any real changes sadly.

I lost only 1.5 lbs but saw tremendous results in my fit test numbers which equals fitness. How did your numbers look?

I definitely had much better numbers and I know you're "fitter". But.... First I would rather lose the fat, than be fit!

It does work for some people, I only had a few lbs to lose and over all I lost only 1.5 so I figure I gained some muscle too. I did notice a different in my back, shoulders, and upper arms. Check this out - She repeated it a few times, but watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDjY_Qm8akU

Wow, that's amazing. I'm not that heavy, but pretty up there. I gained a lot with DD. I realy like Insanity and I feel that I would get MUCH better results after I'm done BF. It really keeps me from losing weight. I'll probably do a 2nd round ans then see what results I get. Thanks for posting this, it gives me faith!

Re: Ok, almost done with the Insanity program...
I'm starting Month 2 Week 3 tomorrow. I haven't lost much weight wise but that's all my fault. I haven't followed the recommended caloric intake nor have I been eating clean by any means. The fact that I AM losing SOME weight tells me I could've killed it if I stuck to the diet plan.
From reading alot of reviews online, on FB etc it seems people either lose a ton of weight or they mainly lose inches and tone up. I fall into the latter category (so far)
I'm just glad I had the will power to get through. I have been wanting to do this workout since I first saw the infomercial but never thought I'd be able to do it! Losing like 40 lbs would be nice though

Re: Ok, almost done with the Insanity program...
just was wondering if anyone has experienced knee or ankle problems doing insanity? Yesterday in the middle of my workout (i am on week 2, month 2) the inside of my ankle "popped" and i felt a very sharp pain on the inside of my ankle and foot, and I had to stop halfway through. Sometimes it hurts to even walk on it. I have also been having pain in my knees. I am not sure if its because of all the jumping/hopping that is done, i had to take a day off today to heal a bit but wanted to know if others had any pain..

Re: Ok, almost done with the Insanity program...
Month 2 was very hard for me... it was extremely difficult to keep proper form so I can see how someone would get injured. I personally did not follow the schedule after the 2nd week of month 2, because I had to pick up my running mileage and couldnt handle both at once. I did pull my lower back once on Insanity, but that was it. I hurt my knee running a 15k shortly after I finished insanity but who knows if insanity had something to do with that also.

Re: Ok, almost done with the Insanity program...
I never hurt myself doing Insanity, but I wasn't able to do some of the moves exactly the way you were suppose to due to flexibility issues. Month 2 is really hard and there is no way I'm able to do all of them EXACTLY the same way as the people in the video. What I found strange was that when they were doing easy moves, well easy to me, they could hardly finish them, but I was fine and the moves that were hard I couldn't "fully" do all of them and they were fine?
The other thing is that when they always said that their abs were burning, I NEVER felt mine burn AT ALL? My core is really firm right now, but I never felt my abs burn? Maybe I was doing them wrong?
