How old is she? She is going to be standing from now on until she moves to a bed, so you can't really go in there every time to lay her down or you will go nuts! My son does the same thing - I lay him down, and he stands up and cries, but eventually he gets tired and lies back down again on his own to go to sleep. He has also hit his head a few times and at first I was paranoid but now....he hits his head on everything and I realize I cannot be there to catch him every time.

Carlie went through this stage. We would leave her and eventually she would get tired and fall alseep. Good Luck!

Re: OK DD just leared to stand her her crib....need advice

same thing happened to me- dd learned to sleep thru the nite, and 3 days later, we had to "retrain" her bc she learned how to stand and couldnt get down!

good news- they learn fast- i practice with her during the day when she stood up, i would get behind her and bend her legs for her and she would squat down....it took about 3 days, that was all, and she learned....and at nite, i would go in and do the same thing i was doing with her during the day, even if it was 10 times in a row- i would just keep telling her, its nite nite time, lay down, go nite nite....all that stuff

good luck!
