I haven't found anything too bad besides hair in my food. But I remember one particular experience...I was 14 years old on a trip to Hawaii with my parents. We were a Don Ho breakfast or something like that and a nice sized bug comes walking on the table - I was so grossed out. My parents said - Oh it's just a Hawaiian bug. I believed it! It was a roach in reality! I didn't know any better! How gross.

My mom said years back, when Houlihan's was at the Roosevelt Field mall - her & my dad were sitting in a booth and before they even had a chance to order, a mouse goes crawling on a ledge next to them! They got up and left.

DH and I got tacos from a small local Mexican place. We found a ball bearing in his chicken taco. Not gross as much as it was scary. I wouldn't even want to think what it would have done to his stomach or intestines if he ate that!

An entire fly (burned to a crisp) - underneath my crepe at IHOP (Northern Blvd, Queens)

A worm - in my stuffed filet of sole at Joe & Joe's Restaurant in the Bronx...

A roach EGG in my fried rice from a Chinese restaurant in the Bronx...

I have found hair-- mostly my own! BUT I have found a small hair that looked like.... an eyelash. Chinese take-out.

One time I was sleeping next to a x bf of mine naked. I woke up and looked down & there was a maggot on my chest.
I freaked out and looked over at him eating a box of cereal. He was like "what's wrong?" I just grabbed the box in disgust and flung it out the window.

I was at a McDonald's in college with my friend..wait for it...it was 2am and we were stoned. We got our cheeseburgers and out of my cheeseburger comes a waterbug.

Its hilarious now, but I was off the weed for a week after that. I have never been back to a McDonald's.

Citigroup cafe - I found hair in my soup...

Metro Cafe - bug in my friends salad...

Pizzeria - about 7 yrs ago I was eating a small pie with a friend and she bit into a latex glove found in the pie.

As I keep reading there will be no more Chinese food for me and many many more. I think I will cook my self and I will know what's inside...

I had fly in my salad once at a salad bar years ago, it must have been flying around the restaurant and it ended up in my blue cheese dressing. Glad I saw it before I ate it. I think am going to be sick thinking of it...................

ETA - my sister had a dead cricket or grasshopper in her McDonald's salad. She called me , we were both screaming together on the phone! No she did not eat it.............

my father found a used bandaid in his lean cusine once he called the company and complained and about a week later he received coupons in the mail for 1 dollar off his next lean cusine purchase like that was gonna happen

I forogot one... bought a whole chicken in BBQ sauce that you heat and eat- well I went to baste it and I thought it was a piece of fat by the neck, no it was not and I am so sorry to gross anyone out... the HEAD! I called the company and they were appalled, they sent me free coupons for chicken but I never used them. I also have never bought a whole chicken again- just parts, I did not eat chicken or eggs for awhile- I think I was nauseous for a few weeks. I am nausoeus thinking of it. ( It was a kosher chciken too!)

I was at a diner about a year ago with friends and they served my friend her salad with a huge cigarette ash on the side of the salad! We all pointed it out and she called the waiter over and said, "thanks, but I quit smoking"

I choked on a piece of a plastic toothpick and cut the roof of my mouth. I found it in a potato skin at Fridays a few years ago.

When we were younger my brother found a thumb tack in a devil dog. My mom sent theme a letter and they sent us a huge box of cakes and stuff.

My best friend and I went to Florida we went to an IHOP.The guy sitting next to us found a clump of dirt in his food. We all looked at each other and were like Do you want to go to Denny's? We decided to stay since we already ordered and if went to Denny's we would have to wait again. Her food comes out and she starts eating her omelet and on out on her fork comes the tip of a rubber glove

i actually crunched on a beetle that i found in my frozen spinach that i cooked. I puked in my sink from it. It was america's choice brand. I wrote them a letter and they gave me a coupon for more american choice products...what were they thinking. It was so disgusting. this happened like 10 years ago and i still haven't eaten frozen spinach.

i found hairs and eyelashes in my food and once i found a piece of metal in my garlic knot. I almost broke my tooth !

I have two:

Chinese food: a mop string
at a local diner where we lived in Queens: the tip of a latex glove...ewww. The hostess actually asked DH is he could wait a minue, she'd get him another sandwich and make sure to check the plate for any foreign objects.
