but ...
1. should i wear a dress to my dd's christening? or could i wear a nice pants outfit..im not a big dress person but i will be if i need to..also
2. does my dh have to wear a suit?

sorry for the dumb questions..i really havent been to a christening or church in yearsChat Icon and its my own dd's..TIA!!Chat Icon

DH should wear a suit.

You could wear either a pants suit or a dress, whatever you're comfortable in.

I would say you can wear whichever you want to. Both would look great.

for you, dress/skirt or dress pants/nice shirt is fine-I am more inclined to wear skirts/dresses, but you wear what you feel comfortable in!Chat Icon

I agree. At DD's christening one of the moms of another baby being christened was wearing a very nice outfit with pants.

You could wear dressy top and dress pants. I wore a very simple dress. Both look nice.
My DH wore a suit. All the DHs in the church did have suits on.
