Ok ladies.. I'm In.. Need help and I'm serious about this weight loss gig
XP: Parenting
I'm guessing step one is to know where I am before I know where I'm going.
Recommend your affordable scale.
Thanks

Congrats!
This is the one I have.
I bought it at Bed Bath and used a coupon. It was about $30 after the savings.
I like it because it has a feature that will save your personal information (weight, height, age) and generates a calorie amount ideal for you. While I don't use the calorie amount (I do WW), I do like to have my information stored in there because it also shoots back my BMI. Up to four people can store their information on there.
And it's nice a sleek, not clunky at all.

I agree w this scale. Unfortunately, I lost the battery cover on mine and replaced the scale w a 20 dollar cheapie from bed bath & beyond.
Good luck on your goals. This board isca great motivation.

WW meetings are $40 a month - although my coworker called the 800 number and there was a $20 special for the first month?....
online is like $15 a month.
1. Buy a scale. weigh yourself to exit the land of - De- Nile Weigh yourself in the morning, preferrable with similar clothing, and note that eating out the ngiht or two before can cause salt fluctuation.
2. Follow the good health guidelines. 2 servings of dairy, 5 fruits & veggies, 2-3 lean meats, 2 tsp healthy oils, 6 cups water. multi vitamin.
3. Exercise.
4. Write down your weight each week. Write down what you eat, and your exercise every day.
I wish you still lived nearby. There is a great leader(right about now dh would be joking " leeeeader", " take me to your leeeader") in Levittown.

I actually had problems with my WW scale. It kept giving me different readings.
I've been using the Taylor glass scale -which is consistently 1 lb higher then my meetings scale.
