I'm sure complaining about it is not going to make it go away.
But if enough of us were having problems with it I think he should know about it.
Still won't change the fact that I'm going to keep my mouse to the left and not click on the links.
It's either that or stop coming altogether for me.

He would probably appreciate the details of the specific problems you're having - if it's certain keywords, what exactly happens when you mouse over (including how many seconds your computer freezes for etc.) to investigate it.
It's a crap shoot with the computer stuff though considering we all have different levels of speed, browsers, etc. to really expect everyone to have the same experience.

Yesterday, I was all up in arms that I didn't like this change. Once Ron explained to us what was the purpose of the change, I have gladly clicked on a bunch of links. As soon as I click the link, I can close the browser window that pops open. It supports LIF, it supports Ron & Liz, and it doesn't take but 2 seconds out of my time.
Personally, I would rather click the link and close the window then pay a membership fee. I come to this site because of my friends that I met and for information. Realistically, I could find similar information on a non-message board website but I like the personal interaction of this site, not including the drama. So Ron, this click is for you.
BTW, if you have a boy, will you name him Click? Or maybe Hyperlink?

I was just curious about them... I have no problem clicking on them. They arent that annoying - I was just baffled with what words hyperlink and which ones don't!!!

Me too!! For one thing, it would keep the trolls away, and it is less obnoxious. One of the things that made this site great was the lack of nasty pop-ups and hovering hyperlinks.
I love Ron & LIz just as much as the next poster, but IMHO, there was a better way to do this. Even if it was only an official announcement that changes were coming that was pinned.

wow how selfish. Purposely wont click on them- find them to be annoying- how about that you are on here chatting with friends and getting FREE information from this website?
I would do anything to help Ron out- after all he has indirectly helped me out greatly planning my wedding on LIW and on here too LIF.

I didnt know what they were about but now I am glad I read this and I DO intend to click on them. Why ...because if it helps keep this site in tact thats great! I certainly do not want to pay for this site. If a click on a word is all I have to do to not pay, why not. Thanks for informing me.

I'm not even letting them pop up by rolling over them. Sorry, everyone's entitled to make a living, but I'm not supporting the annoyance!
Me either -- I feel like it's a land mine around here between hyper links, sponsored forum links, and the business directory that drops down if I get too close to the navigation bar.
