this has been like this for the last 2 weeks. Last night was awful cause at the 3:30a, wake up she didn't go back down at all. I nursed for hour and a half. I feel like the beginning stages it like she is taking naps and waking up. Her only long stretch is midnight to 3am!! I need help!!! I have tried so many things

Re: Ok Sleep training a breastfeed baby almost 11 months old??
I read The No Cry Sleep Solution with DD (who BF until she was 2) and that got her STTN at age 1. She still STTN to this day and she's almost 3. It's not an overnight fix but it did work for us, I think it took about a month from what I remember. I really recommend it.
I keep wanting to re-read it for DS who's now 1 and still gets up 1-2 times a night and sometimes won't go back to sleep for over an hour. I wish I could remember the details of what to do but I just can't. I really need to find time to re-read this . . .

Is she waking up because she's hungry? Can you increase the ounces she gets during the day or make sure she's eating a fililng meal at night for dinner? DS is 13 months old and nursed to sleep still; he is STTN but I never did any sleep training. Eventually he just stopped waking up to eat. He does take a pacifier so if he cried out at night I just gave him that instead. 9:30 seems early for her to get back up after having just gone down to sleep.
Also; why do you have to change her diaper in the middle of the night? I stopped doing that a long time ago. Unless he's peed through his PJ's.
I would also maybe suggest a bottle of water during one of the night time feedings. I tried that 2x with DS. But he loves his water and drank it; then proceded to play with the bottle (I was watching him on the monitor) and the water dripped all over him so I had to get up and change his clothes so it back fired for me...but I've heard other mom's had success!

Not hungry I'm just her pacifier she doesn't take one. I change her if she is wide awake and nothing is helping her get back to sleep I figure maybe the diaper is an issue but most nights I don't change her. Might try the bottle with water.
