ok when did your hair stop falling out?

someone told me around 7 months. please tell me this is not true. I am 4 months pp and it is out of control. If I didnt have thick hair I think I'd be bald by now. I get so itchy and think its a bug and realize its just a hair on my arm. its disgusting!!!!!!!!!!

I am a hairdresser and I can tell you that usually around 5 months pp is the worst of it. But that being said everyone is different.

For me personally it really only fell out for the first 2 months....Now 4 months PP I occasionally get a brushful of dead hair but its VERY rare!! I don't use expensive shampoo or conditioner but I'd recomend Dove for dry or damaged hair....worked wonders!

8 months for me. I really thought I'd be bald by the end of it, too. Sorry! Um... it'll grow back... I know that doesn't help right now.

I think that it started at about 3 months and ended at about 5 months.

You mean it's supposed to stop??? For me, I had thyroid issues that caused the hair loss to go on longer than usual. My hairdresser told me it should go back to normal for me @ 6 weeks after I stopped breastfeeding, beforeI found out about the thyroid issues.

It was really bad from 3 to 6 months...now at 7 months it has definitely slowed down a bit.
