When does the hair stop falling out
OMG!!!! my hair is falling out in clumps!!!! I'm almost 5 months pp and I feel like its getting worse...I have ultra thick hair but still I feel like I'm losing sooooo much and its all over the place too!!!

mine started 4months pp.
i've seen a lot of posts on this topic and from what i've read it either stops around 8/9months pp or up until a year or so..
alot of women lost so much hair to the point they had bald spots
ugh!!!! so not fair!!
but i did read that just when you think you have to wear a wig, some new baby hairs start to grow in...

I think mine finally stopped. I was super-bad from month 3 to 6. Then all of the sudden, it slowed down 
Yeah, it was so bad at month 5 my hairdresser had to modify my normal cut to accommodate the 'thining at my crown'

In my experience as a hairdresser for the past 17 years, I would say on average the 4th and 5th month PP seem to be the worst. Usually is starts to get better after that, but everyone is different. You should start to see some new growth(short little hairs popping up) sometime soon. Good Luck!
Also, Nioxin shampoo, I hear is good from my clients, but I have never used it myself.

I am 9 month PP and it is still falling out ~ I have been taking a mlti vitamin and it helps! (my first 6 months were the worst)

Seriously, it lasts that long?!?!? Ugh, mine just started coming out in clumps (i'm 3 months pp). I thought maybe it would only last a month or so....but now that I know this could go on for months....I'm going to be bald!!

I just started losing mine, so I don't know how long it lasts...but now I'm getting scared reading these responses. My hair is thin and scarce to begin with..I can't afford to lose that much. 
On a funny note, DS has begun to shed his newborn hair too..but mainly on top and the sides. So he's starting to resemble Dr. Phil's hair  Poor DS..I loved his hair.

Honestly, my hair only stopped falling out within the last month and I am 7 months PP. But, I'm pregnant again so I don't know if that's the reason.

I thought I was the only one losing hair. Its ridiculous. Even if I run my hand through my hair, clumps are coming out. I'm 4 months pp.

my hair started to fall out at 4mouths pp and my ds is over 13months and omg it is still falling out in clumps sooooooo gross it is all over ..I have very thick hair but my hair has changed for the worse I HAVE NO SHINE NO LUSTER IT JUST LOOKS LIKE a frizzy mess

OMG!!!!this is scary...I may start taking the phyto vitamins for hair...I have really thick hair but I'm totally noticing at my hairline and my hairdresser noticed it too...I was thinking of doing the katie holmes bob cut look, not the boy cut she has now but the one she had with the thick bangs, this just may push me over the edge...

It lasted over a year for me. My hair never quite went back to its original thickness. I just noticed today that it's starting all over again

I lost my hair at the hairline it was totally noriceable by 3-5 months PP it came back at the hair line but strands are falling I haev thick hair as well and resorted to taking biotin and my prenatals it seems to be helping

It stopped when I got pregnant again. But I got pregnant with my second when my dd was about 8 months old. It didnt seem like it was on its way of stopping tho before that. I was having bald spots in the front.. im dreading this. plus this time not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon. I hope i have hair left.
