Re: Okay...so maybe I'm getting the itch...
With my first baby, I wasn't prepared for the complete exhaustion, never stopping, sleep deprived, diaper changing, revolving my world around the new baby situation.
...and that was with a baby that was a complete angel, could be passed to anyone, changed in his sleep, etc. I knew things would change. I didn't realize my entire world would change & everything that was important in my life would instantly drop to a lower level.
Having had that change, it wasn't as hard as I expected.
It was tough at times carrying 2 on each hip, plus the diaper bag. It was tough when the 2 year old throws himself on the ground & you can't pick him up because you have the baby (double strollers are a godsend). I think it forced my DH to step up to parenthood more because his choice was to handle Joseph or Maddie. Maddie would scream bloody murder if anyone but me held her.
It's tougher than having one but it's easier than having the first one (if that makes any sense).
Good luck with everything and to all those that made the decision.

Damien and Jaidyn are three years apart (which is what your guys would be) and I have to say it is so much easier than I expected. I am sure it is the age difference. If Damien was younger I am sure it would be harder, plus Jaidyn is a really easy baby. So I give having 2 a definite thumbs up

It's a little difficult at first, but once you get into a routine, it's not bad at all. Kaylee's getting to the point now where she can play with Christopher and they're so cute together! I say go for it!

2 seems so manageable now that I have 3 LOL
I think 2 is pretty easy, you still have an even parent:child ratio. It takes some adapting but so does going from none to one. You can do it.

Re: Okay...so maybe I'm getting the itch...
I was so sure I only wanted one but then as Roman got older I thought about him growing up and not really having a lot of immediate family around and it made me sad.
I thought it was going to be harder the second time to get pregnant so we started right away, little did I realize it would happen right away. Good Luck, whatever your decision.

I couldn't agree more nor have said it any better and my two are five years apart.
