Ok...I'M the worst mother of the year...
So Tues DDs aunt calls and says her job had 6 free tickets to Disney on Ice...I say great, when, she says tomorrow (Wed.). She arranges DD, two other cousins and myself. I call my friend down the block, she arranges her mom to watch her other kids and brings her son...
I pick up the tickets...
We HYPE up the show...kids are BEAMING...
We get to the door, my friend is first with her son, hand the tickets over and the guy says the tickets are for the show TOMORROW!!!!! We tried to exchange them, but to no avail...
My daughter was beside herself...crying HYSTERICALLY and throws herself on the floor in tears (she is NOT a tantrum thrower)...
I have never ever felt so bad about a mistake like this, I never even thought to check the date on the tickets based on what DDs aunt said...
I still feel terrible this morning...

She will still have fun tonight!! We went last night and it was very cute!!
It's freezing in there so dress warm and have fun!!

I can not believe they wouldn’t let you exchange the tickets….I can’t believe that.
Its easily done though, my boss took 14 kids to her daughters birthday party on the wrong day…sh1t happens.

Bright side.. at leasts the tickets were for tommorrow and the guy didnt say these were for "yesterday".. now that would stink.

That is ridiculous!!  I was there last night and there were TONS of open seats...TONS!
Anyway, at least the tickets weren't for the day BEFORE!  She's going to have a ball tonight!!
