OK...lets talk Diapers

Like I said in my other post I will be registering within the next 2 weeks...I have my Level II tonight .

I hope you guys don't mind but i'm going to have a bunch of questions regarding what products to use and register for.

Can everyone recommend what diapers they like...AND dislike. TIA

I've only used Pampers and I like them. The hospital provided us with the Swaddlers and we used them when DD came home.

Pampers swaddlers size 0 when DS came home from the hospital. I think I bought the small bag. I always used Swaddlers now I am on Pampers Cruiser

I only like Pampers diapers to this day. I love the Pampers Swaddlers for Molly when she could fit into them.

when they were young we used Pampers Swaddlers because they were so soft...now at 13 months old I like Huggies.

I wouldnt register for too many because YOU may NOT be happy with a certain brand.

Pampers IMO work best. Huggies right behind and Luvs just suck IMO...Hope that helps

I had Pampers Swadders. Now DS had Pampers Baby Dry.

Just make sure NOT to get to many boxes of diapers.

DS was 7Lbs 13 oz and only work NB size for one week. He wore size 1 when we came home. We only used 1 big box of size 1.

Every baby is different and will grow differently. You don't want to be stucked with a bunch of diapers that won't fit your DC.

my dd was allergic to pampers. i moved on to huggies and loved them.

Pampers Swaddlers for us. Huggies never fit my DD very well and leaked. As she got older I switched between Luvs and Pampers. I never used anything else.ETA: I heard that Pampers work best for girls and huggies are best for boys (according to my mom friends).

we use Costco diapers now and LOVE them. before that we were using huggies for many mths but they started leaking on DD . Hated LUVS

i agree with the above posters. don't register for diapers, because you won't know which ones you like until you try them on your individual child. it really is a matter of trial and error. plus, you won't know how much to get in the newborn size since you won't know how big your baby is and how fast he/she will grow.

having said that, i have a small baby and pampers swaddlers fit him SO much better than huggies, which are WAY too big and awkward. he is still wearing the newborn size at nearly one month old.

Pampers swaddlers it is w/ us too..they work best. We tried Luvs (were terrible for us w/ leaks) & recently bought Huggies b/c the store didn't have pampers in her size & I'm finding them okay. Pampers are our top choice.

But don't get crazy b/c you don't know about the size of your DC yet

Pampers Swaddlers and now Pampers cruisers...ds leaked out of huggies. Every baby is different though so don't buy too many until you find out!

Pampers Swaddlers to size 1, then she started leaking every night. I played around with Pampers Baby Dry (hated them), then Papmers swaddlers in size 2- still leaking at ngiht. NOW I am using Huggies size 2- and LOVE them.

I say stick with the swaddlers in the beginning as they really are softer....

the hospital gave us Pampers Swaddlers so we stuck with that. At 3+ weeks, she is still in NB size.
