I like Pampers and Costco ones, but i wouldn't register for any before the baby is born as you might not be happy with any one brand.

Isn't it obvious?

Re: OK...lets talk Diapers

We were Swaddlers when DD was a newborn. But when she went up to size 1 she started leaking out of the swaddlers BAD. So I switched to Huggies and have been on Team Huggies (Gentle Care) ever since.

pampers, first swaddlers, then baby dry, now cruisers...When the baby gets a bit older, I would recommend huggies overnights for, well, overnight Chat Icon

For us, Huggies works best. I felt that the swaddlers had no give to them for the newborns, plus the Huggies newborn size has a different cut in the front to allow for the belly button to heal and doesn't touch it.

Pampers swaddlers size 0 when DS came home from the hospital. I think I bought the small bag. I always used Swaddlers now I am on Pampers Cruiser Chat Icon

Same here. These are the only diapers that have worked. I had other brands from my shower that i tried and i just gave away.

Pampers. I am not a fan of Huggies. I also used Luvs when she was over a year at times.

Pampers are the only brand that did not leak for me. I tried Huggies and ones called Lullabees.

I am a Luvs fan here.

We used the Swaddlers in NB for almost 7 weeks, then we switched to the Target generic and used those for 1s (My SIL bought me a TON) and then I switched to Luvs in size 1 when DS was almost 3 months old and now we are in 3s at almost 7 months.

I have also been using Huggies Overnights in size 3 since DS was about 8-9 weeks old, he STILL doesn't meet the weight requirement, but they don't look as silly nowChat Icon

my babies never fit into NB - so I would be careful about how many you get.

and it is true that every baby is different. My first son leaked in huggies. I got some free ones from a friend for the second one and they were fine.

Re: OK...lets talk Diapers

i wouldnt register for too many diapers. i would register for stuff you need that people can buy you. when your in the hospital they give you diapers to take home and we bought tons of newborn diapers and olivia was 9lbs 13 oz so we ended up wasting a whole package since i unpacked it to set up the room. she went right into size 1's from the beginning.
