I like the animal park thing.. anything that i need to put on a bathing suit.. just not gonna happen. also.. lots more to carry.. towels swim diapers..change of clothes..

I am NOT wearing a bathing suit to Hoyt Farm, you will not want to see my pregnant a @@ in a bathing suit in July! Joey can fend for himself in the sprinklers!

Venetian Park picnic area you might have to reserve but I don't think they charge for that. You just need to pay $15 at the gate unless you are a TOB resident. They have a great playground too and Beach Hut restaurant!

Linda it's a very small sprinkler area for little kids and has benches all around for the mommies to sit on

Maybe 30 - 45 minutes? Venetian is the closest.
Totally open to Nassau suggestions too but I don't think Devon and I know of any places in Nassau

loving these choices theyre all close to me and dd.
going to holtsville today. love it there.
i should add that for july 13th im not too sure how hot it will be there. we went a last week when it was really hot and it was not really shady areas. so im not going to vote for there.

i think hoyt farm is the best out of the choices (playground, sprinker park, etc) - and depending on how i feel, I may or may not still be working (i'm due 5 days later). I'm a maybe, depending on location!
