We were just at Hoyt Farm, and there is soooo much to do there! The only other place I know is the ecology center and that is really fun, too!

Oh I also was wondering if it would be ok if my friend came with her 1 year old and 3 year old. She is a SAHM and has been looking for some playmates?? I always tell her to join us on here but she never uses the computer..lol.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think the sprinkler park at Venetian will be open on June 15th. I know the town pools don't officially open until June 25th. This may be the same for the Town of Babylon water parks as well.

Ladies - everyone is invited  I had an earlier post that said all of these repeating summer GTGs KILL me every year as a FTWM, so we should make a month. . .let's play hooky gtg (not literally)

Count me in w/ my 2. We live a mile from Venetian. They have picnic tables on the beach outside of the sprinkler park & if you sit out by the Beach Hut, you need to have bought food from them.
Inside the sprinkler area there are not any benches; you need to bring beach chairs.
It's $15. during the week per carload, unless you have a recreation sticker.
Last 2 years they've been cracking down on people parking outside & walking in.
Hoyt sounds great though; but anyone can go in or just town residents?

if it's for a "party", it's OK. That's why someone needs to reserve the space
A permit for the smallest # of people would be totally fine, i think the permit is $30.
