omg it FINALLY happened!!!!!!!
DS slept through the night last night!!!!!!!!! Halleluiah!!! It was the 1st night I've slept in 10 weeks!!! I put him to bed at 8pm last night, he was very very cranky (crankier than ususal) He woke up at 6:05 am ate, fell back asleep until 7:30 ate again and fell back asleep until 9a.m....OMG is this a fluke??? A one time deal???? Or could this really be it?????
Although I am excited about this, my boobs are not!!! I woke up with 2 big melons and very uncomfortable at 5:45 am since he was still sleeping and I didn't wanna wake him up I pumped. I don't want to sabotage my milk supply, does this mean I have to get up in the middle of the night anyway to pump??? That would really really stink....

Defiantly wake up during night to pump.. I didnt with my first.. and my supply went down hill because of it.

I am excited for you with the sleep! See what the next couple of nights bring---if he continues to sleep through the night I would pump once if I were you. As you said, you don't want to impact your milk supply.

yay! Congrats to you. I wouldn't get your hopes up too much but I am hoping that this continues!!!!
As for the pumping, if you need to get a supply going to freeze then I would wake up to pump. Otherwise, you can pump a smaller amount each time until your body gets used to not needing that feeding. I mean I am no expert, I only did it for 3 months.

My DS did this few nights sporadically ove the last month, but now he is doing it consistently. He is about 3.5 months now. I love it!
