While this is outragrous, you just acheived their goal by posting it. They picket (or announce that they will picket) funerals to get their voice out there.
When the media reports on this, and others circulate it, they goal of gaining publicity for their "cause" is being acheived, so they have no reason to stop. Once their pickets are no longer newsworthy I am SURE they will stop. there would be no point.

oh don't worry--i don't think that at all. i lived in the south for years and i knew many southern baptists.....and they were on both sides of the spectrum---most were lovely God-fearing people who basically left the judgement up to God. while others of course---very few---had this zealot mentality. it truly stinks when some rotten apples ruin the bunch!

We have pilots here at Southwest who ride with a motorcycle group here in Virginia/DC/Maryland.
When these zealots decide they want to picket one of our soldier's funerals at Arlington, the bikers (with the families' permission) park right next to the church group and rev their engines so as to drown them out.
