Why doesn't anyone tell you this stuff?
Because they want people to keep having babies and suffer the same indignities they suffered!
This was a horrifying read.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Just as she was removing the old pad and replacing it with the new one - I farted. I don't mean a cute little puffle, I mean I farted like I never knew I could fart - right in the poor woman's face!!!! I was so numb from the epi that I partially didn't believe that it was me (because it was so unbelievably HUGE) that I started to look around as if DH did it. He looked at me and said "the dog isn't here, honey, you can blame that one on her!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've been on both sides and can tell you as a nurse I'm totally immune to all this stuff. Well since you ladies are already grossed out I will let you in on another tidbit. Sometimes patients have bleeding issues during a c-sect and we give a medication that gives you the runs-immediately, meaning when we get you off the OR table the clean-up can take a little longer so don't think a c-section will allow you to keep your modesty!
Re: OMG...LMAO...is this what we have to look foward to????
I have to tell you that with DS I was soooooo afraid of pooping on the table. I had no idea that this could happen but it happened to my friend. I couldn't believe it.
Thank goodness nothing really embarrassing happend to me but I do feel that looking back the entire experience was embarrassing - everything was out there. I started with a blanket and nighty. I ending completely naked and sweating..... Oh well, all worth it I guess - I'll be doing it again within the next three weeks.
Great post...
Re: OMG...LMAO...is this what we have to look foward to????
OMG! That page had me laughing SO hard!
I had a c-section, but I remember some fun stuff from my 21 hours of labor. I had to pee like every ten minutes & after my water broke, every time I stood up, moved or contracted I squirted a mix of fluid & blood. I had my sheets changed on my bed many times & I left a trail from my bed to the bathroom everytime I got up my poor nurses spent a lot of time cleaning the floor.
Also yeah, I knew I would bleed after birth, but I was NOT prepared for how much
Re: OMG...LMAO...is this what we have to look foward to????
Ok so those experiences answered some of my question. I had no pooping, peeing, vomiting or farting with #1 and #2 so I was wondering if I will this time. I guess I should expect it and will get through it.
