on a seperate note, I always imagine your husband to be a Hugh Grant clone...so I can just imagine him coming home and telling you this story...scary, but witty...you sounding concerned and motherly in your Mary Poppins voice

OMG, like a fat Hugh Grant maybe (I hope he doesn't read this...) His voice is lovely though.
His car is a company car, it was a really lovely brand new Ford Focus Estate that we really loved. Man, now he will probably get something crappy like a Vauxhall Astra or a Peugeout 307. Crappy cars. It was the River Lune in Lancaster....Off to bed now!!

Wow you are about 2 1/2 hours north then of Wickhamford.... I always thought Auntie was so far north.
I guess it all depends on what you are calling south, we are farther north than say Devon is from London, but we are less than 2 hours by train from London so really, its not "that" far North. Also, there are many further north places (Newcastle, Scotland, etc) so its all relative I suppose. Wickhamford is slightly south of Birmingham...the midlands. (Geography lesson later...)
