on FB, does anyone know if there is a way to block friends of friends from making comments on your pics?
Say I tag one of my friends, how can I block her friends from commenting on the pic?

It is set to Friends Only but I think the problem is when I tag a friend, her friends can see the pic (which is fine) & then they are able to comment on it.

I think you can customize an album so only the ppl u allow can see it.

Hmmm there HAS to be a way. I know sometimes I can't comment on friend's tagged photos. I can't even "like" them. Unless the tagged person has to set it up that way.

I double checked the specific album settings for one of my albums and it's set to friend only, but it does say "Note: Anyone tagged and their friends can also see this post."

On the picture itself is a little + on the bottom righthand corner of the pic. Click it and you can change the setting of the pic.

Really? My albums are all friends only (not friends of friends) but when someone tags my picture, all their friends comment on it. Weird. On the flip side, when one of my friends is tagged in a pic of someone I'm not friends with, I can always comment on that as well.
There used to be an option to disable tagging, and I had that, but I think it disappeared when they changed to the new format.

The new FB layout allows people to comment on pics if you tag a friend.
I have changed all settings to friends only and no matter what, if I tag someone, their friends see the pic and can comment.

There is an option to require approval for someone to tag you and that is what I use now.
Privacy Settings --> How tags work --> Profile Review turned on

There is no way to stop that... if one of your friends gets tagged in YOUR photo... ALL of THEIR friends can see/comment on that photo. period.

Yeah I already have that...but it's stupid because it should be the other way around. I don't care if people tag me in their own pics. I care if they tag themselves and all their friends can comment

Technically its the same as if they copied your pic and posted it on their page...the same ppl would comment....Now its just awkwardd bc they are commenting on YOUR page rather than THEIR page.

The way the picture comes up on the newsfeed is misleading too. At a quick glance it looks like a friend's picture than I realize it is their friend's picture.
I think the only option is to not tag your friend. They should be able to see the picture and comment but their friends wouldn't be able to.
