Yes! I had a dream one night dh and I went out for a night in the city while Cailen was asleep in his crib. At some point in my dream I started thinking that maybe we were being a bit irresponsible...

Re: On the path of "crazy" Q posts... don't you wish..?
DH and I talk about it all the time. Many mornings I get out of work at 8am and DS has to be woken up by DH to be brought to my job, so DH can be at work by 8am. For those 20 minutes he wishes he could just let DS sleep. Because he is so cranky when we need to wake him.
I work only 2 blocks away from home and we joke how we wish the monitor would reach.

All the time!!! I can't stand when I have to lug my sleeping baby because I have to get milk or a bagel or go to the post office. You wanna know the Crazyiest thing though????? MY parents left me in the crib sleeping once and went to run an errand and when they came back to their surprize I was not in the crib!!! Where was I???? I had climbed out of the crib (for the 1st time) crawled under their bed and was about to unplug the air conditioner!!!! My mom screams and my dad takes the camera and snaps a picture LMAOOOOO I gotta find that pic and post it! TRUE story!!!!!!!!!
OK here it is!!!!!!!

Every time DH & I are out together without the kids, someone always asks where they are & who is watching them... our response is always "they're at home with Nessa (the dog)". The looks we get!!!!!!!!!!!! Duh, grandma is babysitting!

I get tempted all the time ,especially with 3 kids ! But after watching one of Oprah's shows ,it will never happen
Same here! Just the policing, buckling & unbuckling tires me out, forget about the errand. I try to do as much as I can with only my 3 yr old in tow. Come Sept I will have 2 1/2 hours 3x a week to myself and you know it will be all errands!

YES! I have always said there should be a service called Naptime Nanny. It's like a dogwalker...they come to your house while the baby sleeps - you run errands...and come back an hour or so later - then they go to the next job. I would SO hire one!!!

That is a crazy story! You were an adorable baby!
I don't even feel comfortable being downstairs while DS is sleeping upstairs. I always feel like someone should be in the same room with him.
