I love Lindenhurst! I was a sub in the district for a couple of years. They have great schools and it's a nice community!

My husband refused to buy a house in Lindenhurst when we were looking. He thinks the district is too big and never really heard anything too positive about the schools. (even though I feel most of the districts around this area are pretty much the same).
You will be right near Venitian shores though. It has a great water wark for the little ones during the summer and a nice playground also. It also has music and entertainment at the Beach Hut there.

I agree with your husband. I als and she o have a friend who left that school district (as a teacher)and she doesn't have very positive things to say about the district at the upper levels.
