One "special" gift for DC (christmas related ?)
It doesn't have to be $$$ just someting nice and/or meaningful. I have a bunch of toys from his bday to put under the tree and my family buys him the world. (he is getting or has the pb chair, wagon, outdoor playhouse ect ect) I need some ideas!
I was thinking a kitchen but I don't know if I want that big thing in my house lol Also, I'm trying to budget.
I decided not to go crazy buyign his a million toys bc I am on a budget and he is so young he doesn't know anyway lol

if this is his first christmas, a nice keepsake/sentimental idea is a pair of monogrammed cufflinks that he will use later in life and will always have and know they were his first christmas gift.

What I wanted to do was buy DC a book for Christmas each year and write him a special note to read when he gets older. I intend to do this every year...

Got him this book last year.

If you decide you want to get him a kitchen, we got E one that isn't super sized! The little tykes super chef kitchen, it was not $$ either!

I buy DD an ornament every year that way when she gets older, and has her own tree, she will have ornaments. I usually try to get an ornament of something that she's "into" each year. For example, she obviously has lots of Baby's First Christmas ornaments from the year she was born- but the next Christmas, she really loved Abby Cadabby, so she has an Abby Cadabby ornament. This year, she's into Peanuts, so I got her a Snoopy ornament.
My mom did this for my brothers and I growing up, and I love love love to look at my ornaments from when I was growing up.

I will be doing the ordament thing each year... planned that when DH and i just got married lol. But I gotta admit I do LOVE that book idea. I may just write a letter each year and give to him when he's older... just b/c I always loved reading things like that from my Mom. I'll put it away with the Christmas things each year and then each year I get to remember how much he grew.

We do ornaments for each kid every year and one for the "family".
Cliare started ballet class this year, so she is getting:
Spent a lot of time praying for Owen this year, so:
Had the roadtrip from he!! this year with the kids so I got this one (with 4 people) and had "road trip 2010" and our family name put on it (plus our individual names):
