one thing that SUCKS about living in an apartment
no control over the heat.
i'm FREEZING.
i HATE being cold.
(but i feel even worse for dharma)

We sweat to death in our place. Our landlords are a sweet old couple and she always tells me she worries we are cold. Meanwhile I tell her we keep the windows wide open.

you can switch apartments with me! last night we had all the windows wide open, fans blowing, and I slept in a tank top. We were one step away from putting the AC on!

we have heat/AC units in our apt which we control and its STILL one extreme or the other.

They are in the process of fixing our heater in our complex so at times our heat isn't working that great. I put the oven on for an hour with the door slightly open just to take the chill out. Otherwise the heat from the oven when I'm making dinner helps

We often run our A/C in the middle of winter....there doesn't seem to be any middle ground.
