onesies in winter for DC 12-24 mths? or BTDT moms..
Ok stupid question.......what do you use to layer your DC in the winter? :ast year I used a short sleeved onesie under most of DD's outfits - - she is 17 mths...do you still put a onesie on them at this age? what do you use? I dont know what to get to layer her for the winter.

I still plan to use a onesie under all of their clothes. Also, most of the shirts now are not bodysuits, so it covers and keeps their tummys warm when they lift their arms and are moving around.

i use the gerber t shirts... they feel and look like onesies but dont have any snaps..... i think my boys look silly in onesies now

thid is what I was thinking. not sue if shes "too old" for onsies? do they make them in 18 and 24 mth sizes even?

yeah my MIL bought some.. ugh. babies r us sells the t shirt ones and walmart has some.. they seem a lil flimsy from walmart though...

Carters sells them in packages up to 24 months, and individually up to 4T.

Katherine is wearing a onesie today and she's 2. I think they're fine until they're starting to train--then the snaps might be a problem.

I put onesies on Sarah last winter, our house was cold. We're starting potty training so no onesies for her now.
We got new insulation and siding over the summer but I'll have Andy in a onesie or a t-shirt that snaps at the crotch, mainly b/c he has dry skin and will scratch himself until he bleeds if he can get at his skin.

I didn't use onesies last winter and don't plan to use them now. He normally wears sweatshirts, and even when he is wearing long sleeves, I don't see the need for it.
