Onesies or side snap undershirts for newborn?
I think I read somewhere that you should use side snap undershirts on a newborn. I think it had something to do with the umbilical cord stump, but I'm not sure. Did anyone use the side snap shirts at the beginning?

I used regular onesies and the side snap shirts from the hospital...they were both fine. HTH!

Im actually in the hospital waiting to go home right now. They have all of the newborns in WAY oversized side snap shirts. I took Abby home in a onesie and she was fine. Jeremy's take home outfit happens to be a side snap but that is only because it was the only one I liked. I think as long as it is loose fitting, you should be fine. I always had Abby in onesies as a newborn.
