Only 1 follie - update - transfer complete
been stimming forever 600 follistim, 300 menopur and have 1 follie at 15 and 2 others at 10....the 10's have been that way since Thurs.
Anyway, looks like retrival is next week so I am asking for your prayers for whichever egg they get to be the one to fertilize, implant and grow into a health baby.
I am 44, 1st IVF and yearning it works.
Update: They retrieved one lovely egg and it fertilized. Transfer is Sat. Please help this lovely egg implant and grow to a healthy baby. Thank you for your continued prayers.
3/14 update - transfer was a little rough...my cervix didn't want to open.
After 1/2 hr. Dr. had to use a IUI cath...cervix is the only small thing on my body. LOL
After the cath was in, they went and got my embie and I saw the little dot enter my uterus. The Dr. was very happy, embie was 4A
Thank you to all for your prayers and good wishes. Please continue to keep us in your prayers for this lovely embie to implant and grow to a healthy baby.

I will keep you in my thoughts. As I already told you, my friend at 44 had one embryo to transfer and now has a two year old son. Good luck to you!

I am really hard for your little follie. If it makes you feel a little better, I only had one mature follie last cycle and it fertilized and it was 7-cell on 3dt. So, there is hope. OK, so it didn't work for me, doesn't mean it can't work for you. In fact I know someone right now from my other board who also only had 1, it fert and now she is about 9wks (or more). Actually, early on it didn't fertilize because it was immature at first and overnight it did fertilize. And she's doing great.
