Only 1 heartbeat today
Dr B said it was most likely a genetic issue that caused it. He said the blood flow was excellent and the baby thats still there is big and has a strong heartbeat. He didnt tell me what it was but we heard it and it was super fast. ETA: 168bpm

I'm not sure I know what the "right" thing to say here is but here goes.
I'm very sorry about the twin's heartbeat not being present anymore. Many hugs.
I'm also very happy that you were able to hear a very strong heartbeat on the other baby.

So sorry! I had the same thing with both my pregnancies. It was a very bittersweet feeling as I wanted to be sad, but I also wanted to be overjoyed for our healthy growing baby.

Thats very comforting to know that your babies still went on to grow. Its a really strange feeling.

i never heard a heartbeat on both sacs, but i knew there were two. that was enough for me to be a little sad. although i was sooo overjoyed that we had one that was growing it was a little bittersweet when one never developed. that's why i always tell people to put back two embies. you just never know.
for your twin, and  for the rest of your pregnancy!!
