Opinion on a tattoo - (don't move, it's baby related!)
Ok, so I'm about to embark on my next tattoo and it's going to be Bella's handprints on my back, on the left side of my spine. They'll be positioned to look like she's crawling (but closer together) sort of one on top of the other (hope that makes sense). Eventually with other children, their hand prints (or foot prints) will go on the other side....and so on and so on...
Now, would you incorporate her name "Bella" into it somehow, or the Japanese Kanji lettering for "daughter", or just get the hand prints?

It sounds nice with just the footprints but you could add her name also (just not too big or it could take away from the hands).
I would have to see the Jap. lettering but I think just writing her name out is better

I would put her name. What if you have more girls? I think to make it like their tattoo with their names. I agree with the AP that ithe name should be small.

I like the idea of adding her name...maybe a pretty script under the curve of her palm? Then do the same for each other child through the years.

I would use her name or initials.
I will do DS's footprint. From the original prints of his feet at birth in the OR. I will put "EJ" underneath.
I will do it when we are done with #2.
I want mine on my right front hip (by the bone).

you could always add the name later if you are not sure. IMO I like it, but if you are on the fence about it a removal is painful & expensive if you decide it takes away from the original design of the tattoo. KWIM?
