opinions please on addressing baptism invitations

I keep losing everything over here Chat Icon (I'm sleep-deprived, and my memory is going Chat Icon )

I had clear labels I was going to printout for the adresses and return address on the envelopes... as predicted, I lost them!

I was thinking about using standard white address labels I have hanging around (the envelopes are white). do you think that's too office-y? I don't want to ruin a pretty invite with something tacky on the envelope....

I don't think white labels are a big deal. Can you print directly on the envelope?

This was my thought as well, and what I usually do.

hmmm, I haven't tried that in years.... (it was a bad experience long ago... much emotional scarring Chat Icon )

they didn't give me extra envelopes, though... so it's risky.

HOnestly I think the white labels are FINE, esp. since its a white envelope? Just use a nice font, the envelope's going straight in the bin anyway...

Use the white ones - it is a christening invitation and not a formal wedding invite. I used white labels and never though twice about using them.
