Opinions? Travel High Chair

We have two grandmas who love to feed DS, we need something ultra portable, was thinking of this:

I've never seen it before, but that looks great! Super portable! Does it fit basically all chairs?

That looks cute but it seems like they would outgrow it very quickly.
When we go to friends houses, we still use something like this for our 23 month old:

This is a great option... we have this, but both grandparents have booster seats anyway..

Honestly, it looks a little flimsy to me. Also, it doesn't seem to give any 'boost' up.

I recommend something more like this:

Fisher-Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster Seat

We have used this since DD was about 8 months old (I don't really remember, so that's an estimate! Chat Icon) at restaurants and other people's homes, and we are still using it now (permanently in our kitchen) and DD is 3!

the one we have is like this and its great that when they are older, it becomes just a regular booster.

The ones that clip on can be great, but sometimes if the tables have a piece of wood, or lip, or something and its not completely flat it doesnt work with the table.

Re: Opinions? Travel High Chair

ohh i like it and think I might get it. I have a boster seat but since its only strapped around his legs and not around his sholders he moves around to much and its soo hard to feed him. This looks like exactly what I need for traveling!

Re: Opinions? Travel High Chair

The one you posted does look cute but only good with a chair like that. If it's going to stay at their homes, I'd go for one of the plastic boosters with a tray as posted by a few above. If you're going to move it from house to house and use it for yourself too I'd recommend the chicco hook on seat...

It's in my trunk always. DS loves it. He's been in it since about 5 months in restaurants, travel (folds flat and fit in suitcase), relatives homes, our coffee table for tv dinner nights!, etc. He likes to swing his legs and bounce. I use it even if a restaurant has high chairs. If you're in a booth, he can sit inside and not in the way of the server.

Just keep in mind... it cannot be used on a glass table or with a table cloth (but we fold up the table cloth at nice restaurants and lay it over the arms so you do not even notice).

I have the Chicco hook on and the FP one... I've found the hook on doesnt work everywhere and I love the FP one but it's annoying to carry. The one you posted looks perfect as long as they can reach the table with it!

Re: Opinions? Travel High Chair

I have the one posted by the OP. Great concept but Erik HATED it and wouldn't use it. I bought it last year to use while when we were in Europe for a few months. Never got any use out of it.

You can have mine Chat Icon

(eta: the baby should needs good control while sitting to be able to use this).
