OPK/cycle question, to test or not to test?

Ok, so today is CD11 and I think AF is FINALLY ending (for the record, my cycles have been 33 days like clockwork and my period usually only 5-6 days max)....so considering my period was a lot longer than usual, does that mean I start doing the ovulation tests right away since it's already going to be CD12 when my period finally ends?? Or, would it possibly mean I'd also ovulate a little later since my period lasted so long? Sorry this being the first month I actually decided to track I feel like I'm being thrown for a loop with this extra long period!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon TIA for your input!! Chat Icon Would you wait to start doing the OPK's? I have the smiley face digital tests so I don't want to waste them!!

CD12 update: took the test, no smiley!
CD13: took a test this AM and screwed it up and got an error on my smiley test Chat Icon what a waste!! oh well, on to tomorrow!
CD14: no smiley
CD18- STILL NO SMILEY Chat Icon

Hmmm, I would start testing as soon as AF ends...you never know and it would s uck if you missed your surge.

Re: OPK/cycle question, to test or not to test?

I didn't really get a period this month (we talked about it) and I decided that I'm just going to test every day in case those two days of spotting was a really light period. It may be a waste of $$ on OPK, but worth it if I get the Chat Icon sign!

I also told my husband that we should just try and Chat Icon as much as possible and try not to stress.

Yeah right. Chat Icon
