no it doesn't matter what time you use an opk but you should try to hold your urine for a few hours if you're using it mid day (just for a more accurate result)

Depends on the person I think. For me it works in the afternoon which is when my OPK tells me to use it, for others it works in AM. I would do the afternoon bc that is when it has worked for me (this month no smiley in am, but one in the afternoon)

I got a smiley at 5:30 am.. and I thought smiley would come this weekend.. I can't believe I was off by two whole days.. that too crucial days.
how long do I have after the smiley.. just one day right?!

not necessarily. I think they say 12-36 hours. I got my smiley in the morning and we didn't bd til the next day afternoon and I got pregnant. So I would get to it.
