OPK experts.... come on in :)

I took everyone's advice and bought the cheapie internet tests from Amazon. I've been testing for the past 7 days since I got them and the line has steadily gotten darker (unless it's my imagination)... It definitely isn't "as dark as or darker" than the control line, but it was getting there. Today it was barely there. What's up with that?


I have a 40(ish) day cycle. Today is CD22. My bbt is usually 96.9 or 97.0. On CD19 and CD20 it was 97.2. Then went to 97.0 on CD21. CD22 spiked to 97.5 and my OPK line was barely visible today. That's where I'm at right now.

I had a very little CM on CD20 and CD21. There was definitely something, but it wasn't a significant amount.

Do I assume if my temp drops tomorrow that I o'd and my line just wasn't as dark as it should have been? We BD'd on CD18,19, 21 and will tomorrow on 23, too.

I'll keep doing the opk testing til I get AF or BFP but just wondering if anyone who's an expert can help me interpret what's going on?

I'm definitely not an expert in any way, but I would say that if your temps stay higher, then you probably o'ed on CD21 and just missed the surge on the OPK.

watch the temps. If they stay high then you O'd and missed it. The line test have to much uncertainty thats why I per just to spend the $ and buy the .

If your temps stay high there is no need to continue to test.

thanks girls! Of course I woke up to pee this morning an hour earlier than I normally temp and my temp was 97.0. I don't know if the hour has anything to do with it or not....

....sigh..... i hate the waiting game... I told DH we are just BD'ing every other day forever

Just wanted to update that my temps are 97.6ish consistently for the past few days... crossing my fingers that that was O and they stay high... there's been hardly any line on the OPK for the past few days... counting the days til I can POAS and check! LOL
