OPK users and cycles - question
Hey ladies,
Those of you who use OPK's (I am using CVS brand with FMU), I have a question for you...
Can you tell me on what cycle day you got you positive and how long your cycles are in general.
I am on CD 12 and I have not yet had my +OPK... my cycles are about 30 days long.
I know I am not mid-way yet, but figured I'd ask what you ladies have experienced.

Re: OPK users and cycles - question
I'm glad you posted this, because I've been wondering the same thing.
Right now I'm on CD14 and since I'm on a 28 day cycle I just assumed I'd be ovulating now. But I took a test with the OPK and it came back negative (although i did do it wrong - it wasn't FMU) so I'll try again tomorrow. It's just odd and I was getting frustrated. But from what you other girls said - it'll probably be here within the next few days
Thanks for this post - I'm curious what everybody else's days are too

I have a 28 day cycle and i usually get a positive OPT test on CD 16- which means i think i ovulate then on CD17.

Re: OPK users and cycles - question
I usually get my positive on CD 12 or 13 and I have a 28 day cycle.
But I have a question - do your instructions say to use FMU? Because normally you're not supposed to use FMU becuase your LH surge usually occurs during the day. Just making sure that isn't the reason why you're not getting the positive.

Mine says to either use FMU or to do a 4 hour hold without drinking excessively. I'm the type who just cannot hold it. If I know i'm not allowed to go, suddenly I just NEED to. lol. So I make it easy on myself and wait for morning.
Also it says that most girls get the best results if it's taken at the same time everyday between 10am-8pm. I, however, get up at 6:45 and took it right then (since i can't do a 4 hr hold). Maybe that could be screwing up the results tho I'll have to rethink my schedule somehow
