Orange Theory Fitness

Has anyone been to a class? How was your experience? Im thinking of joining the Carle Place location but would like to hear some feedback first.

I was not a fan, they let you try one class for free. Try it. If I am going to be in a gym I like more one/one help. They give you list of what you will be doing prior, like what exercises you will be doing during the class and show you how to do the exercises then send you on your way. By the time I had to perform the exercises I could not remember what/ how to do. They do not come around to help or correct your form, so you can be doing everything wrong and never know. It is very loud and hard to follow the instructions they are yelling out.

Try a class first, before you pay. I thought it was very $$

I liked it - depends on what type of workouts you like. I'm a huge class person and liked the motivation of the trainer. I would definitely try it first though.

Does anyone mind sharing approximate membership costs? They are opening one near my house in stony brook. They are very popular in Connecticut where I used to live a few friends of mine that still live there go and love it

I love it! I've been a member since March the workouts and trainers are amazing. I'm a member in Massapequa and I pay 139 a month for unlimited classes. I think the prices for this studio just went up. If you sign up before it opens I think you get a cheaper price they also have different packages like 8 classes a month was 89 dollars. It's definitely a great work out and you can be a beginner or advanced exerciser and still get a lot out of each workout
