Oreo Truffle Question
I am in charge of these for a party this weekend. Do they have to be dipped in choc or can i cover them in red/white/blue sprinkles?

Re: Oreo Truffle Question
they do not have to be covered in chocolate.
if you want to do sprinkles, i would make the truffles and immediately roll them in the sprinkles... then refrigerate or freeze (yes, they are yummy right out of the freezer) to help the "dough" solidify around the sprinkles and help the sprinkles stay put.
i make these for christmas... when covered in chocolate, the kids call them "moose poop." don't ask me which one came up with the name, but it's stuck lol
