Organic moms..peanut butter

I'm looking for an organic peanut butter that does not need to be refrigerated. Does this exist? What do you use?

I buy Green Way and it doesn't need to be refrigerated.

Organic peanut butter (any brand) only sort of needs to be refrigerated.

Two reasons:

1) if you stir it then refrigerate, it stays mixed (kind of). I store it upside down so that the oil is at the bottom rather than at the top.

2) More importantly, organic peanut butter is (obviously) not sprayed with fungicides. Peanuts are naturally susceptible to a certain fungus, and if the peanut butter is not refrigerated, it can grow this fungus more quickly.

I would rec. refrigeration!

Yes, you can, but it likely has organic palm oil and organic sugar in it.

"16 oz.

Ingredients
Organic Peanuts, Organic Palm Oil, Organic Sugar, Sea Salt."

Still has the same issue with the fungus since it is organic.

Hmmm . . . Now you have me wondering. DH always grinds fresh peanut butter from Sherry's in Babylon or Fairway. I'm pretty sure the stuff from Sherry's is organic (not certain though) and not sure about Fairway. He NEVER refrigerates it but he's the only one who eats it. I wonder if it should be though?

To tell you the truth, I almost never refrigerate the one I keep in my office, and I am the only one who eats it... but I go through it REALLY fast. I probably should refrig it, but too lazy...

Bjs just started carrying an organic store brand. I searched the whole container twice and it doesn't say refrigerate. I put it in the fridge anyway but it isn't as runny as the natural ones that say refrigerate.
