Organizing books and toys??

Please share with me how you organize DC's books and toys

I want to get something for his room but not sure what

A good ol' three shelf bookcase will do for someone his age... and ONE BIG PLASTIC BIN for the toys... b/c you know there are times that you just want the toys off the floor. At his age, they don't need to be *organized...* When he's 9.... UGH -- DIFFERENT STORY

I have the ikea system with color bins that slide in and out. You can put shelves too for the books.

I had bought the Pottery Barn Cameron series but it was $$$. I cancelled my order except the craft table and got all the shelving unit at Ikea.

I printed labels to put on all the bins so "I" know where to put everything back quickly.

yea, i mean i dont expect him to actually have his books "organized" but the crates / bins they are in now are not working well
