OTC gummy vitamins.
Does anyone take them in substituting your prenatal? I was at SAM's club today and saw the gummy vitamins have the same amount of folic acid as my reg. prenatals. I would much rather take a gummy vitamin (since they taste delicious) but want to make sure it is as good as taking a prenatal pill.

There is a gummy prenatal. I take it. I get it at Target but I think most places carry them.

i take the target version of the VitaFusion gummy prenatals. I love them... they are the only vitamin I can take anytime of the day and they don't make me sick! They are really yummy too!

Re: OTC gummy vitamins.
I won't try gummies because I'm pretty sure I'd want to eat them all as a snack. I think as long as they have the right amount of folic acid they should be fine while TTC.

I took the gummies for a while, but I started to feel like they had way too much sugar in the them. Plus the ones I was taking didn't have iron in them.

Just curious, why is iron good during pregnancy?

Not sure about that... but I the reason they don't make me nauseous like every other vitamin I have ever taken is because it does not have Iron. If I need to take an iron supplement when I get pregnant then i will before bed so I am not sick from it.

Iron helps both the mother and baby's blood carry oxygen
