Other than taking their temperature, can you tell if an infant has a fever?
If you are worried about your infant getting/having a fever, would you take the temp on a daily basis just to check? Or is there a way you can tell and then take it?

i can tell by his forehead...i kiss it everyday so I can usually tell when there is a rise in temp

Their forehead, and most of their body feels warmer than usual. Their mood is usually off. They aren't as happy as usual.
This is why I like the ear thermometer. Even if they aren't accurate, they are close enough to tell me if DC is "normal", "elevated" or "high". If we ever question how they are feeling, we just take 5 seconds and confirm our suspicions.

I usually put my cheek to their forehead. I can usually tell if they are running a fever that way.
