Please tell me what its like to have a 2 year old and an infant....
Tell me everything, if you have the time, of course.
How difficult is it the first few months? Is PPD more likely with the second or with the first?

I won't lie and tell you it was easy (mine are 20 months apart)...
I was very fortunate to have a baby nurse for the first 4 weeks...It really helped with the transition for my older DD.
I personally didn't experience PPD either time but I think it would have been more likely the 1st time around (DD was colic, I had no clue what I was doing etc)...
You will get thru it and after about 6 weeks you start to get into a little routine and soon it's all second nature...
Just wait until your 2 little ones are chasing each other and laughing and playing!

mine are 19 montsh apart iots not easy at fiorst but like with #1 you get into a groove pretty quikly. It helped that my older one was goignto tehs itter a few hours aday in the beginning just to give me some timealone with teh enw baby. It all falls in to place

It's definitely hard in the beginning, it's all new to you and her. The newborn is "easy" because you already know what to do and expect (no sleep, feeding every 2-3 hours, etc.) However the newborn is dependent on you and the toddler wants you. Know what I mean? You'll be tired, but like anything else once you get into the routine you'll be fine.
I think once Jack turned 8 weeks it started to become more routine and then when he turned that magic 3 months it all got much easier.
As far as advice - If you have help take it!!! I didn't have any help with Hannah, but with Jack I needed it and took it!!! Make sure you set aside at least an hour or so a week for you and Paige to spend some alone time. And most importantly whatever your current routine is now with Paige, KEEP IT. I never took Hannah off her schedule even during my maternity leave. She still went to daycare, just for shorter days. It gave me time to bond with the baby and rest!!! Now Jack is on her schedule and it's working out great.
The baby is a big change for the entire family, try to keep her life as consistent as possible. Hope that helps
Oh and as for the PPD, I had it with Hannah and worse with Jack.
