Our Home Addition Project
Just wanted to post some pics of our project.
We first planned this project in the summer of 2009...we didn't actually break ground until Sept 1, 2011! We got caught up in a lot of engineering and issues with the town variance. Was about to give up so many time but we just had too much invested and really love the neighborhood we live in.
We basically doubled the size of the house. We added a small storage garage, a family room and playroom downstairs, a bedroom, master bedroom and master bath upstairs. And then opened up a bunch of walls downstairs to open it up a little.
We still have a lot of decorating to do not to mention a ton of landscaping and paving. But you get the idea.

Old living room - before
We turned old living room into new dining room and made an entrance to new living room/family room:

Again, we still need to do a lot of finishing touches on the decorating but it's coming along slowly. We'll get there.

Thanks. We bought it 7 years ago from someone who fixed it up and flipped it. It was pretty much all new inside but it was dreadfully small. No storage at all and no real room to move.
We since have had two kids and another on the way. We were bursting at the seams!
