looks amazing! what was your total cost for this remodel? we prob won't do our kitchen for another year but your ikea cabinets look fabulous...you've changed my mind about using them

my bil told me that the majority of work he does in NYC deals with ikea cabinets. He says they are great! Most NYC apartments have them unless your looking at $$$$$$$$ money. I love them!

Thanks everyone!
We remodeled our whole house (which added the tray ceilings and high hats) so I can't give you an exact number but for the cabinets + appliances themselves (DIY Assembled and installed) was just under 9K. Granite was around $2600 and the floor was under 1k (DH installed) and backsplash was around $500. We saved A LOT of money by having DH assemble and install himself. The quote we got from the IKEA Contractors was close to 4K, and they only got "OK" reviews.
I was totally against IKEA - I thought they'd be cheap and rickety like some of the furniture (we bought a dresser from them a few years ago that I HATE) but they are VERY well made and were top rated !
