Our Miracle
Last November, after 4 years of loss and infertility, I was told that I was indeed pregnant but that it wasn't viable and it was only a matter of time before we lost the baby. I cried everyday waiting to miscarry (again) until on Christmas Eve my husband and I decided to make a trip to see the smartest, most honest man we had ever met, Dr. Kofinas. He not only told me it was ludicrous to think we'd lose the baby but that the baby looked great! I remember sitting across from him in his office while he discussed which hospital I should deliver at and the whole time I was thinking "why is he so optimistic?" Well, as is probably always the case with him, he was right and 2 weeks ago, I delivered our beautiful baby boy via c-section at Winthrop Hospital. If it were not for Dr. Kofinas and Dr. Miller (my OBGYN), I am not sure that I'd be writing this post. I believe all children are miracles but he is truly our gift from God.
Introducing our little peanut, Henry Beckett, who came screaming into the world weighing 6 pounds 15 ounces 
I didn't post too much during my pregnancy but I read and learned so much from this board. I wish you all the best in the rest of your pregnancies and happy and healthy deliveries!

As precious and perfect as those pictures are (Christine Melissa is SOOOO SOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOOO TALENTED) my favorite image of all is visiting and seeing the look in your eyes when you stare down at that baby boy of yours. The love you have for that little miracle is what this journey is all about and I'm so honored that we were able to walk this treacherous path together.

Your story brought tears to my eyes. I am really really praying for my dear friend who is going on her 4th year of infertility as well. I pray she gets the same amazing outcome. I will never really understand why those that deserve a baby more than anything have trouble and some others seem to get pg without ever trying (who DON'T deserve it) BUT stories like this give hope. I am going to share your story with her, I'm sure it'll brighten her day. Your son is gorgeous and perfect. Enjoy every minute with him!!!!! nothing like a little baby boy
