Our yearly tradition of decorating GINGERBREAD COOKIES (pics)
Every year we decorate cookies, it's a tradition for 30+ years.... here are this years cookies and a pic I found of my mom doing the cookies in the early 1970's 
Mixing the icing..

She makes the icing with powdered sugar and heavy cream. Then we color them red, green, blue, yellow and leave one as white.
One person gets a color and has to touch each cookie so they are all a group effort. We do switch colors, but it's not one person doing one cookie.

How awesome! We just made a ton of gingerbread cookies last night, but it go too late to decorate, so we plan on doing that sometime this weekend with the kids! Great decorating!
