Out of breath and light headed
I know I am barely 10 Weeks, but when I bend over or have my head down my heart beats like crazy and I get dizzy ad it takes me a few minutes to feel better. I definitely have to ask my doctor about this, but I was wondering if anyone else gets this. I had this with my ds, but I was much later in my pg.

Re: Out of breath and light headed
Although you always want to ask your doctor about things that concern you, breathlessness and lightheadedness are typical in pregnancy and I think can start at any time. Pregnant woman require more oxygen than normal, so even so much as going up a small flight of strairs can cause you to be out of breath. I believe the lightheadedness comes from the extra blood flow. I've had both right from the start. HTH!

Re: Out of breath and light headed
I was very light headed and dizzy the first few weeks. I am 9 weeks now and it has eased up a bit. I started eating more and that seemed to help. I also feel out of breath sometimes or like my heart is beating faster. I think it is normal, but it can't hurt to ask your doctor.

Re: Out of breath and light headed
DEF telll your doc about the lightheadedness but I will tell you that you need to take it easy. Any time you get up or bend down. do it VERY slowly.

Re: Out of breath and light headed
I had the same thing and thought I was going to pass out. When I told my doc about it he said it was very common because of the increased bloodflow and ogygen levels needed for baby. His advice was to slow down and squat instead of bending over, so blood doesnt rush to your head.
