It will be ok. I have been to sooo many parties in the rain.
People are coming for Lucas and thats all, not for a fun sunny day.
They want to come celebrate and the ones who matter will come rain or shine like Azad said. 
The tent will definitly hold in the rain.
We have had a party with 75 people in a tent meant for like 50 and we still had a ball.
If you need any last minute help, Im home all day every day so Just let me know.
NO WORRIES!

Our e-party was outside under a tent. Even though it poured on and off people still came. The tent was fine. GL

Try not to worry about the rain. Like every said they had some of the best times at parties under tents in the rain. The party is going to be a blast rain or shine! We will be there with bells on to celebrate Lucas' birthday!

down pour would be an understatement to describe my brothers wedding (the rain was coming sideways!)
he had a tent- they came 1 hour in to add the side pannels
we were soaked- we had a great time!

Thank you so much everyone! I woke up this morning with a positive attitude....we are going to party and have a great time!!!
I owe it all to the stories you all shared...made me feel 100 times better to hear how you all attended the parties regarless of the rain and had a great time!

2 years ago my cousins had a tent party without the side panels...Everyone still went..It was cold but it was fine!
Just get the word out that you have a tent...shouldn't deter partygoers

I have 75 people in my parent's backyard for DH's 30th birthday party - In the middle of JULY, it was like a damn monsoon !!!!! -
I bought a tent, borrowed 2 more, and bought extra booze .........A good time was had by all  
I've also been to plenty of outdoor events when it rained - Of course the weather is kind of a downer, but it never stopped the party .............
I will admit though, none of them have had a lot of kids there -

Yep! My engagement party!
We had a tent in my parents backyard - everyone huddled under it - it was actually quite cozy!!!

Our engagement party.
It rained so much - It was literally a monsoon. The tents were awesome. Everyone stayed dry and warm.
