Ovarian cysts?
In the past I had an ovarian cyst which the doctor told me was common and it seemed to go away on it's own. Well, for the past few weeks, about a week before I get AF I get that pain again in the same spot where my cyst was. I thought that maybe it was because that was when I was Oing but when I test it comes up negative. What do you think? I'll be going to a gyn soon but just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. TIA!

Re: Ovarian cysts?
I always knew I had a cyst because it was painful when we BD'd. I actually had 2 rupture (ouch). I would call your doctor and see if you can go for a sonogram.

Re: Ovarian cysts?
When I went to my new doc she did an ultra sound and found one on my right ovary...she said it was small and should go away...she wasn't too worried about it and I don't feel any kind of pain down there from it

Re: Ovarian cysts?
i had an ovarian cyst rupture at around christmastime. it had been around for months, though, and causing me quite a bit of pain. not sure what kind it was, since by the time i got an ultrasound it had already ruptured. now that i am pregnant i have another one - a corpus luteum cyst - which apparently is common in early pregnancy. i think it causes me pain at times, but nothing too bothersome.
if you suspect a cyst i would definitely contact your gyn and go in for an ultrasound.

Re: Ovarian cysts?
Call your doc, I seem to be prone to cysts, and while they mostly go away on their own, I have had a few burst and it's the most painful thing!
They'll do a sono and keep an eye on it.
