If you have your own business on the side, should/do you include this on your resume?

Is the experience relevant to the job you're applying for?
It shows good initiative to have started your own business, so I think that's always a plus.
I wonder, though, if a new employer might be concerned that you have too much on your plate and that it could potentially interfere with a new job.
